I thinks its pretty accurate.

I upload my stats here:
http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=IWESTSUS42
When I compare to other stations in the area, its seems pretty consistent.
A few problems I do have are:
1. Station is in the garden surrounded by buildings so the wind tends to swirl and not provide a consistent record of the prevailing direction.
2. Below -3 degrees C the station freezes up when damp and so direction and anemometer lock up !

Enjoyed your website. I wondered if you have any views on how accurate your data is from your weather station compared to others?

How is the reliability of your weather station?

Hi Ian - I managed to get my weather station uploaded to my website today. And have now just seen that there has been an update to the cumulus software today? Any tips or tricks to update to make sure I don't loose any day or settings now I've managed to sort it? Also what are the improvements in the new version?

Cheers

Mike

Hi Mike,
If you already have the Cumulus software displaying data then you simply be able to go to the configuration/internet page and set up your FTP details.
In my case I created a /weather subdirectory on my server and entered the appropriate FTP login account details for the cumulus software to deposit the files.
You can see the result at http://ianparr.com/weather
